trees

Thanks to Charlie Gaylord (via the Portland Phoenix) for including us in his top 10 of the decade…

And the blue record, none the less!  The article reads:

“Take To The Trees | Phantom Buffalo | 2008

I realize that ShiShiMuMu (2001) was their major, groundbreaking, critically-acclaimed effort but I actually like Trees better. The songs are just as quirky and funny, but they’re poppier and more accessible than the debut effort. No band in the decade made as much of an impact while keeping such a low profile. They deserve to be famous.”
